You want to send your girlfriend a message from the office and you'd rather the IT guys weren't reading your e-mail. You're messaging a potential client about the special offer you want to make and want to keep it a secret to your competitors. These are just some examples when you might want to keep your messages for yourself.
Continue reading "Webmasterslookup launches Encrypted Messaging Service."

In a few weeks time we have added an Affiliate Program to Webmasterslookup.com.
First we had the "e-mail a friend" option, then we had the "Buy Top Listing" option and now we combined these options with an Affiliate program.
We're pleased to introduce the Affiliate Program, because it can make you realy benefit from your WebmastersLookup membership.
"Google Dance" is the name that often used for the process that updates the index of the Google search engine. This process runs on average once per month. During the Google Dance many web pages get a new Google PageRank. It takes several days to complete the index update and during this period, the old and the new index alternate on www.google.com. At the beginning, the results from the new index occur sporadically. But as the update evolves, the new results appear more frequently.
The seeming collapse of cyberspace in 2001 became a point upon which web trends turned. People predicted the end of the cyber era. However, this is all part of a vicious technological cycle of peak trends and shakeouts. It is at this point, that real success is measured. And the development of Web 2.0 is just that.

This is the question I ask myself when some Webmaster invites my to exchange links. First of all I don't want my web site to be associated with gambling of porn because it is bad for my reputation. Secondly I need to know more about the suggested linkpage because I take the linking business seriously. Will this linkpage help me to gain the traffic to my site? Does this linkpage help me to get a higher pagerank? The first question about the right content can be answered by visiting the linkpage. The other questions are more difficult to be answered. Since I get more than one exchange proposal in a day I made a tool to analyse a linkpage. In this article I want to share this tool with you.
People are calling themselves Webmaster since internet started 15 years ago. A wide variety of tasks are scaled under the Webmaster flag but nobody knows what it exactly means to be a Webmaster. Some 4 - 5 years ago I recognised this problem and since then the idea for WebmastersLookup.com was growing in my mind. This article will convince every web professional to join WebmastersLookup.
This is one of the small ideas we selected to add to WebmastersLookup. Webhosters and ISP's sometimes claim a 100% uptime of their service, but can they really proof it?
We have a job running every hour that checks the availability of a website (7 X 24). All checks are counted and stored in our database. Yes, we can tell if a website has a 100% uptime over a period of time. This means we can offer an independent availability proof. You understand why websites gladly link to this page. Members can add websites to the Availability checker and add a number of days of checking these sites.
All websites that enter this service get extra attention via a highly indexed web page providing 3 hyperlinks to these sites. The frequently running job generates a lot of traffic, that's why this cannot be a free service; it costs $ 0,50 a day per site.
