The first idea I want to share with you is the Shopping Center Site. It is living in the back of my mind for a long time and I even searched the web for sites like it. I could not find it but I don't have the time to make the site. Maybe it is a nice idea for you.
Let me start making an excuse for my bad English. I am a dutchman and I like to bring you some nice idea's, but I don't like using a dictionary all the time. I hope you forgive me.
The idea
The Shopping Center Site is all about content in a database and making queries on that database. Just like finding webprofessionals on WebmastersLookup. Only this time the subject is Shopping Centers. The idea came to my when I went shopping with my wife and we found out to late it was a holyday. Or wow, a nice shopping center but I cann't find a parking place... It is frustrating when you don't have enough information about the shopping center you want to visit.
Sometimes shopping centers have their own website, but wouldn't it be nice if all the information is stored together so visitors can select the center and plan a trip?
All kind of data about Shopping Centers can be stored. Data like:
1. Kind of Shopping Center.
- Is it a mall.
- Is it a town center.
- Is it a street.
2. Shops.
- Number of shops.
- Shop list.
- Opening hours.
3. Transport.
- Number of parking places.
- Bus stops.
- Train / subway.
4. Etc.
You can think about nice pages to build too; Planning a trip or Stores near by.
Commercial oppertunities
Did you ever see how many people come to a shopping center on a saterday afternoon? How many of them have internet at home? Do your SEO thing and you will get loads of traffic to your site. By then you can think about placing ads on your site of shopping centers or to let them pay for a prefered membership with links to their sites.
